Playing with Light
Summer for the wildlife photographer can mean an abundance of opportunities to get out there with a camera and make the most of the long days of natural light. Plenty of intriguing subjects await - many of them amid colourful garden backdrops - and it can be the perfect time to begin a new project or visit new and interesting locations for fascinating wildlife.
This issue we travel to the Galapagos Islands as wildlife photographer Ben Hall offers a guide to making the most of its unique wildlife and delicate ecosystems, with advice on lighting and exposure that’s sure to be helpful for any photographer shooting in the harsh light of summer. Plus, WPM reader Teri Franzen shares her once in a lifetime experience with Cheetah siblings.
We hope you enjoy the issue and don’t forget to share your best summer creations with us.
