Masai Mara Migration
19 - 27 August 2017
One of the greatest wildlife spectacles in the world is the annual Wildebeest migration in the Masai Mara. The private luxury camp at Entim, inside the park itself will place you right at the heart of the action as the camp is based right next to one of the river crossings. There is the added drama of crocodiles lying in wait for the crossings themselves, and further opportunities to photograph the famous prides of lions, cheetah, leopard, elephant and with luck black rhino. This will be a photographic safari to remember.
Beautiful Bosque del Apache Reserve
25 Nov - 03 Dec 2017
One of the great sights and sounds of a US winter, and a resultant mecca for wildlife photographers is the early morning and evening take-off and landing of the large skeins of Snow Geese that spend this time of year at Bosque del Apache Reserve in New Mexico. Add in the over-wintering Sandhill Cranes in a location that is nearly always cold, clear and colourful at this time of the year and the photographic opportunities are clear – silhouettes, blurred mass take-offs and individual portraits: it's a true wildlife spectacle and there’s something for all.
Wild Brown Bears
26 June - 01 July 2017
Along the Finnish and Russian Border lies an area of land as empty and wild as it gets in Europe. Amongst this taiga forest roams one of Europe’s most impressive and threatened predators, the Brown Bear. Waiting in our specially designed hides that offer swamp, forest and meadow habitats on a summer evening when darkness hardly falls, a snap of a twig can be heard and there in front of our hide is this magnificent animal only a few feet away. Large dominant males are an awesome sight but the females with young are a joy to behold, especially the playful antics of the cubs.
