Nurul Yazid from Malaysia
I am an award-winning underwater photographer from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, who loves chasing sharks and fighting currents all around the world, always with a camera in one hand and eyes wide open.

How did you start your photographic journey?
When I was working as an underwater dive guide, we'd see some amazing things (e.g mating sharks) and I'd share it with the guys at my dive centre, but nobody would believe us because we didn't have photographic evidence. So I got myself a Canon IXUS 95, which was small enough to put in my pocket to capture anything exciting we'd see...
