Spotlight On… Shazmeen Bank

I am thirty-four-year-old female wildlife photographer from Kenya, home to many beautiful species. I support conservation and have a one-of-a-kind turtle pen in the Maldives for rescued turtles. My hope is to tell a story through my lens and be a voice for the animals that can not speak.

How did you start your photographic journey?
When I bought my first camera, a Canon 60D, I did not know the importance of different camera bodies and lenses. All I wanted was to capture what my eye and mind saw. So, I went into a store and picked a camera and travelled down to Amboseli and just began clicking. From there, I spent more time in the field and upgraded all my gear to help me develop my passion whilst out in the field ...
