Originally from Mexico City, currently living in the city of Huejutla de Reyes, Hidalgo, Mexico. Amateur Photographer of nature who, from a very early age, has been a nature lover, especially insects. Passionate about macro photography.

This small but spectacular insect is a robust weevil, Eurhinus Magnificus Gyllenhal, which was first reported in Florida, USA, in 2002. The adults are brilliantly coloured; their entire body is a vibrant metallic blue-green, with areas of metallic red-copper. Belonging to the family Curculionidae, the adults grow to around 6mm long and 4mm wide...
