As I do most weekend mornings, I wake up and head to Richmond Park to photograph the Red Deer’s as it is only a short walk from where I call home in southwest London. I had spent a good half of the morning photographing a large group of female deer when I eventually began to wonder where the large Stag was, with any large herd of females there’s always a Male that would be watching over them. The vegetation was thick and mostly dead which made the deer blend well into the surroundings making it actually quite hard to spot the deer. I began looking through my camera trying to make out some horns as they would be the dead giveaway for a Stag. It did not take long before I spotted the Stag, funny thing was he was looking right at me which can only mean he spotted me long before I spotted him.
