Little Tree Hugger, British Columbia, Canada by Pam Mullins

I was driving along a low traffic road when I came across a female black bear and her two one year old cubs. I pulled over on the opposite side of the road from them and shut the truck off. They were eating grass and didn't pay much attention to me. All of a sudden something startled the cubs and they ran off into the woods. I was waiting to see if they would come back out when I heard some noise coming from a near by tree, it was the cubs climbing up for a rest. One of the cubs stopped on a low branch for a couple minutes before continuing up the tree. That gave me the perfect chance to get a few shots.
