Goldcrest, Struer, Denmark by Dariusz Slowik

Picture Story

I was out walking one sunny morning and I was looking to photograph some birds when I saw a bunch of goldcrest birds which were on my list for a long time to photograph. If you know those birds you know they can be very fast and its not easy to get a good photo of them, since they are always between branches most of the time and very quick, so its hard to get a good sharp image. That day I was lucky enough to get a bunch of good photos and this one where the goldcrest is looking forward and he looks like a small ball, which makes it a funny photo, you don't see them from this angle very often. Its a very small bird, but when you capture a good image its sure makes your day.
Overall it was one of my best days to photograph those quick, beautiful small birds
