Cormorant with Catfish, Conowingo, Maryland, USA by Jeffrey Kauffman

I was taking photos of Eagles and Osprey at the Conowingo Dam on a beautiful sunny Autumn afternoon. The Osprey and Eagles were being very active because a school of catfish were in the area. I kept my attention on the Osprey and Eagles and was getting some good photos. all of a sudden this Cormorant popped up in front of me with a catfish in its mouth. he was so close that I had to shift attention from the Osprey and Eagles to the Cormorant and his fresh catch. I changed settings quickly and got some photos . I saw an Eagle coming in to pick up a fish and was torn between photographing the Cormorant ore switching over to the Eagle. I ended up sticking with the Cormorant and getting some nice photos.
