Cedar Waxwing, Joliet, IL, USA by Sandra Rust

Cedar Waxwing Eating a Chokecherry. I love this tree in the springtime. The the flowers on a Chokecherry tree are very fragrant and beautiful. I noticed the Cedar Waxwings love to eat the flower petals at the end of the flower's life, must be nutritious. This tree feeds so many birds, it's incredible how many different types of birds that feed and share together.
