What inspired you to become a photographer?
From a young age I’ve always had a strong connection with wildlife, I spent many camping holidays close to nature. It’s my general interest and love for natural history that inspires me to document and photograph my experiences.
How did you start out?
Whilst studying visual communication at university many of my projects were based around British wildlife. To gain inspiration I would spend my time at nature reserves drawing and sketching birds as well as photographing them for reference. I would then use the images and sketches to create art and design work from them, once back in the studio. Gradually over time my wildlife photography improved until the photographs became an art form in their own right...
